I’m an Engineer inspiring youngsters to design a better world.

With around a decade of intersectional experience in education, entrepreneurship, and research, I’m currently working on designing engineering learning activities infused within a culture of enterprise and innovation to help develop futuristic and holistic engineers. 

I hold a doctorate in Electrical Engineering as Nehru Cambridge Scholar from University of Cambridge and a Schlumberger Post Doctoral Fellowship from University of Oxford. 

My main passion in reimagining engineering education through designing an immersive, integrated and bespoke learning model at Dyson Institute is currently complemented with my roles as co-chair – IHE R&I network, ambassador council- QE prize in Engineering, advisory board & STEM scholarship panel – Proprep.

Listed in the ‘Top 50 Women in Engineering in UK’ in 2017, I’m a Global Ambassador for the Queen Elizabeth Prize for engineering council, TEDx and Sciencebox speaker and as a champion for women in STEM, mentor many aspiring youngsters. 

The Co-founder of two EdTech start-ups, engineering consultant for scientific committees for govts, universities and start-ups, I’m currently using my education, experience and expertise to influence and impact science and engineering education, diplomacy and policy.

Research

Decade long involvement in research beginning with power electronics branching into multi-disciplinary topics ranging from machine learning for electronics applications to disruptive restructuring of Engineering Education and its impact on socio–cultural identities.

My ongoing work looks into designing an inclusive & bespoke engineering learning model based on ‘Engineering habits of mind’.
