Dr. Nikita Hari is an Academic, Scientist, and Technocrat. She is currently a Lecturer in Electronics at UK’s first Industry bridged institute – ‘Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology’.

Nikita holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from University of Cambridge and undertook her Schlumberger post-doctoral fellowship at University of Oxford.

Nikita was a Gold Medallist for both her Masters and Undergraduate degree in Engineering. She has around a decade of teaching and research experience with 25 international research papers and 45 tech keynotes to her credit. Her multi-disciplinary research interests include machine learning for power electronics, EdTech for developing countries to disruptive innovations in Engineering Education and its impact on socio–cultural identities.

Listed in the ‘Top 50 Women in Engineering in UK’ in 2017, Dr. Hari is an invited Global Ambassador for the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering, TEDx Speaker for Cambridge University and Clinton Global Initiative Changemaker Class 2018.

The Co-founder of two social ed-tech start-ups ‘Wudi’ & ‘Favalley’, her vision is to engage, educate and inspire youngsters to engineer society for good.

As a consultative member of the Scientific Advisory Board, Govts and Consultant Board member for EdTech platform – ‘PropPrep’,  Nikita is keen on using her education, experience and expertise to influence science and engineering education, diplomacy and policy.
